Online marketing in Bulgaria
Out of 7 million inhabitants more than 60% use the internet actively. COD remains the most popular way of payment. It is used by 60-70% of internet users. Only about 20% of users pay by card and less than 10% use online payment methods such as ePay or EasyPay. However, trust in online shopping is rising gradually. There has been an increase of more than 15% since 2012. Bulgarians like buying clothes, sports equipment, groceries and electronics best, but they enjoy buying holidays or tickets to various cultural events online, too.
